Ayurveda, Heritage of Humanity

Ayurveda is part of our oldest cultural heritage, which has spread throughout the world following the movements of Aryan populations, from west to east.

Studying Ayurveda develops an understanding of a different language, of philosophical theories that define the concept of science and health in a particular way.

“The Ayurveda is the science of life and, therefore, of health.”

For Ayurveda, the term health has a clear positive connotation, of harmony between a healthy body, a calm mind, and an elevated spirit.

Healing, promoting, and maintaining health can only be achieved through a path that leads us back to spiritual, mental, physical, and environmental harmony. Health and spiritual evolution of the individual are like two sides of the same coin.

There can be no real science or real medicine that does not have its roots in knowledge capable of providing answers to both aspects of existence.

Health requires a dynamic attitude, a constant effort towards optimal balance. It is the field in which all the latent potential of an individual can find its way and express itself freely, as it would be in harmony with all the other elements that make up the person.

Harmony is the main characteristic of health, that is, the balance of the fundamental energies that make up our mind and body.

Ayurveda considers the individual as a microcosm, reflected in the macrocosm of the Universe.
